Ok so after several x-rays and an ultrasound, we have learned that Dusty injured his DDF tendon. There is a core lesion and several of the tendons are thickened. The vet suggested we come back in 6 months for a follow up since Dusty is not limping all the time. He said we will just have to wait and see. If anyone is looking for a stud, please let me know. I have a friend trying to find a good home for his mom's horse. She died a couple of months ago, and the family has no need for the stallion. He is a 1991 AQHA appendix registered horse. Native Bar James, great-grandson of Jesse James. Usually throws buckskins and was trained to ride at one time.
anyway, anyone interested, give me a shout.
thanks

I hope no one gets mad at me for posting these, but if we can help the unwanted horses, then life will be better for everyone. I already have 4 horses, one being a rescue, so i can't take anymore. If you or someone you know can help, then please try to. the horses will thank you. i have already sent an email to habitat for horses to see if they can help.

If anyone is interested in a more rustic place to ride, TC Ranch outside Cleveland is the place to go. They have lots of trails, through pasture, woods, water, you name. Again, pretty rustic, but fun for a day ride. They use to advertise cookouts and trail rides, but now it's just call for prices/times. The website is www.tcranch.net. We've been twice and had a great time.
