I have to agree with Wendy. Frank is a no-nonsense type farrier. And I would def get either a farrier or a vet's opinion. That hoof does not look right at all.

im just tired of the Big Black ones and the nor. horse fly cause they leave bit and blood marks

I hope you find something that works. The flies really irk Shiloh something fierce. My husband uses the fly-swatter at times, just for speed and accuracy purposes.
No I have not tired that. I only have 2 Horses and they only bother my big mare she is 16.2
and very light colored. They dont mess with my paint horse.
Have you tried Pirhana spray? it is in a yellow bottle/can and is oil-based. Whatever you do, don't use anything from Pro-Manna. I bought some of their stuff about a week ago and it doesn't even bother the houseflies, much less the horseflies.
