Julia's Stall

He is now a 2 1/2 yrs old, gelding.
He was in a 12x12 dog kennel when I got there, 2 to 3 mths old.
Very tiny, bad coat and very depressed. I asked the man why he got him, he said "I wanted a horse" He had mentioned he had had him for 1 mth already. He told me not to go into the kennel, he would kick the snot out of me....so I asked what can a little guy like that do that a big one hasn't already? If you don't mind I would love to share something with you all. Wasted hay! It was driving me crazy. We only buy sq bales and when I would throw it out to the horses, my gelding would go to each pile and leave his mark...yeap, everytime, it didn't matter how far apart I put them.....so I went on line to find a fix, first I wanted something just for the stalls, since they both were pulling the hay and making their beds, doing their business and not eating it....something that would keep… Continue

Hi all, I am really excited to see there is a place to come close to home. I would like to tell alittle about myself and my horses....
I am a proud parent to 5 wonderful young men...yes, 5 all mine.....ages 25, 22, 16, 12 1/2 (only cause he reminds me daily) and 7.
I am proud to be married to a wonderful man for 23 yrs, he puts up with alot, not very horsey, but is learning. He has retired from the USAF, is now working for a company that supplies oil companies with service and parts.
