Dang, girl! I wish I had seen this sooner. I would have come out to help. I wouldn't have had a horse to ride though, Blue's shoulder is sore and I don't have a horse in training far enough along to be ridden yet, they just started the training this…
Sorry for getting back so late....we will start at 8 am and hopefully get it all done before the heat gets to bad.....call me if you would like to come out 281-432-9247

Ummmmmm I was a bad girl!
Look what I brought home? Isn't she beautiful? She is about 17 years old, 16 hands, rides and drives I was told but have been years since she was driven but I don't care I didn't get her to drive.....she rides like a dream, very sweet girl and she is the type you can just hop on and go which is nice with Pearl in training it is nice to get on a horse and just go and not worry about getting bucked off LOL......

Hey everyone! I'll be adding lot and lots and LOTS of photos of my horses and puds.....you have really no idea how MANY pics I have LOL....cause I'm a photo freak...photo freak LOL!
Oh and I love to make videos! if you want to see them you can go to my youtube.....but I hate you tube so you might click on a video I made and there will be no music because they removed the audio because they have nothing better to do besides ruin my videos LOL....

Miriam said… - Maybe if I tell you the story you won't feel like you missed out on him. I had a 24 y.o. Arab gelding that I learned barrels and poles on. I had started praying for a younger horse to bring along when my Prince got too old to run (you talk about energy, that boy could run circles around any qh around!). I knew Jakee, and called her about a horse she had advertised, and she told me she had one she was sure was for me. She had sold Jack to Lori Smith, who lived around the corner. Lori was going on a mission trip and was selling Jack to pay for the trip. Knowing Jack now, I have no idea if Lori could handle him or if she even rode him. Jakee told me she used Jack as a lesson horse with her students. I absolutely fell in love with him when I saw him and tried him. He has so many cool moves. He is very in tune with body language; all I have to do is turn and look and he is going there. He has a great stop, and he really uses that huge motor in his rear (there is no more thinness about him now, he is stout and fit as can be). I bought Jack in February of 2006 and lost my Arab the following May. I had had him for seven years (he was my first horse and I was crushed). But my buying Jack put Lori in the Lord's service in the mission field. I had prayed for God to send me the RIGHT horse, not just any horse. I cried every day for months after I bought Jack because I just did not know how to deal with him, and my pride kept me from asking Jakee for help. I had to learn Jack the hard way (my choice), and the Lord used Jack to teach me so much about horses (and life in general) that I never would have learned otherwise. So it took us a long time to get together. I started trusting him to do his job about 18 mos. ago, and he is just jam up. It was difficult because of all his anxiety everywhere but in the pattern. His patterns are as technically perfect as you could ask for. I keep him settled down with Fluphenaxine and I really work at shows to keep him away frrom all the excitement - he simply cannot handle all the sensory input of a barrel race. he has been not wanting to go in the alley lately (gee, wonder if jackpotting on him every weekend for over a year had anything to do with THAT!), but I worked with our trainer and last night did some things differently than usual and he went right in. I just wanted to cry I was so happy - I want him to enjoy this game as much I do! I would love for you to see us sometime soon - I think you would enjoy seeing the horse that he has grown up to be - and, if you can't tell, I am very, very proud of him!

- Well, that sure sounds like my boy! That is him I am riding in my pics. I would love for you to share some stories from his youth. The Lord blessed me with this horse (I KNOW that I KNOW that I was supposed to buy him!) and I have learned so much from him. He is not an easy horse, very anxious, but has a huge heart to please and always gives 110%! He and I have come so far. He and I won the Novice 3D saddle last year, the Seniors 4D saddle the first year I had him, four buckles, and I couldn't tell you how much money!! He is such a cool horse, and cute to boot!! He is 12 now, and I always say he has a 4 y.o. mind in a 12 y.o. body. I wouldn't dream of taking him in a parade now - the last one that I rode him in (Tomball Christmas three years ago with Cowboys for Christ whom I scouted for), Jack was a nervous wreck and liked to killed both of us. He does not trail ride well, unless he is by himself; he never really relaxes and just enjoys himself. But I have a handle on his limitations and don't press the envelope with him. He wins for me, always tries hard, and is a true champion in my books. We just won $$ tonite at the Church barrel race, and I couldn't be more proud of my beautiful boy! P.S. - I don't have a clue what "sabino" means, but if it means cute, splashy white, then that is what it is!! ;-)
