- Miss Willow is coming along really well. i think ive got a keeper. i have been going to arenas every week 2 & 3 times. doing ground work & time in the saddle. its going to take time. Dorado is doing great. im going to be bringing him to exhabitions more.

- Thanks Barbara!! Chrissy is fine, which is really the only important thing. But what a pain to deal with all this!! All is well, looking forward to some nicer weather real soon. Supposed to go to New Caney for a race today, but I am holding off til I see if it REALLY clears up in a couple hours!! Come visit if you can and kiss Dorado for me! How's new horse working out?

- Are you going to Glen rose? I entered in friday night and sat day. Its going to be a hectic month with Glen Rose the 15-16 and we sold our place and are moving to Oklahoma and have to be out of this place the 18.. Maybe I will do good I will be too tired to care how I do.

Leah said… - How cool is that but it has been along time ago....but you are right about all the energy....during the hole parade he were going sideways because he wanted to go but Jak-ee had us in 3's and I was on the outside LOL....Jak-ee kept telling me "LEAH make him go forward!" LOL....I tried but he just wanted to go faster then the parade was moving so it was a learning experience for the both of us....I remember feeling a bit uncomfortable up there on him because when he was younger he had a narrow build and I was used to riding Apache the app, Lucky, and all the other bigger lazy horses. I guess Jak-ee felt I could handle the more uppity horses and he needed more exposure plus there were new students that needed some confidence boosts.....I guess my parents weren't suppose to buy him if you were LOL.....he was one of my favorites though! Oh and sabino is a gene that messes with white markings making them look really cool looking LOL.....

- Is Jack a sorrel paint horse flaxen mane and tail...some sabino splash on his belly? If it is the same Jack I am thinking of I remember him when Jackie first started working with him and I actually rode him in one the the dairy day parades when he was pretty green! My parents were even thinking about buying for me but my parents never followed through with anything.

- Im outta town on april 3. I would love to come and if for some reason I cant make my trip to Amarillo I will be there. I leave April 2 and return the 5 or 6. Might stay an extra day to work some friends colts. I really think they just want a first time pilot to be honest with you but she hasnt came right out and said that just brags about how well they are doing and they are alreay to be rode. To me that is my sign. Come on wednesday and practice that alley issue. He might be getting that way because you said he was sore and he is remembering the pain. I also have some other ideas I can shoot your way if you are intrested.
